We replaced the DAREBEE bookmarks system and retired the accounts that went with it. If you had saved workouts, challenges, or programs using the old feature, those lists are no longer available - the accounts and the data stored in them have been removed.
The old system stored your bookmark lists on our server. As DAREBEE grew, thousands of people were building and managing multiple shortlists at once, and the server load became unsustainable. We came dangerously close to the whole site going down. Keeping DAREBEE free and available for everyone has to come first, so we made the decision to retire the old system entirely and replace it with something better.
The new system keeps everything in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server - ever. Your bookmarks load instantly, no account is needed, and your data never leaves your device. You own it completely. If you switch browsers or devices, you can back up your bookmarks and restore them using the backup option built into the bookmarks interface.
To rebuild your list, just visit any workout, challenge, or program page and save it using the bookmark button. It takes a second per item, and everything saves instantly with no login required.
One thing worth knowing: because your bookmarks now live in your browser's local storage rather than on a server, clearing your browser data will erase them. If you ever plan to clear your cache or switch devices, use the backup feature first to save a copy you can restore later.
No account is required, nothing is tracked, and nothing leaves your device. It is, in almost every way, a better setup - and one that helps make sure DAREBEE stays up and free for everyone.
