Day 26 flips Day 20 onto its hands and adds burpees. The circuit is 20 plank leg raises, 20 split jacks, 20 plank leg raises and 10 burpees - straight through for a set, 2 minutes rest, 3, 5 or 7 sets by level. Where the earlier session finished on the floor, today it starts there and only comes up for the middle block - and then drops again for the burpees.
Plank leg raises open and return: high plank, one straight leg lifted a few inches, lowered, then the other, 10 per leg per block, hips square and still. Split jacks between them stand you up and jump - scissoring the legs front to back with the opposite arm reaching up - for 20 reps of the biggest jump on the card before it is back down to plank for the second block of leg raises. Burpees finish, ten of them: chest to the floor and back to standing. Fifty of the 70 reps are on the floor, and they run from quiet to explosive - the leg raises ask for stillness, the burpees ask for everything.
Plank leg raises with the glute lifting the leg, hips level and square, no rocking. Split jacks landing soft and deep with the front knee over the ankle. Burpees full range, chest down and stand tall, and keep the plank position on the way down as clean as the leg raises demanded. Set each plank properly before the first rep.
Leg raises, split jacks, leg raises, burpees - fifty of seventy reps with your hands on the floor, and the last ten were the ones you felt.
Make it Harder: Lift each plank leg raise to hip height and hold it there for a beat, and do 12 burpees instead of 10.
Make it Easier: Do 12 plank leg raises per block instead of 20 and step the burpees back and in.
