Day 10 gives the legs a cardio circuit with two small extras. It is 12 step jacks, 6 side jacks, 12 step jacks and 6 calf raises, then 2 minutes of rest, then repeat for your level. Two blocks of stepping, each followed by a short something - the first a lean, the second a rise onto the toes.
Step jacks: step out to the side as the arms rise overhead, step back as they lower, alternate. Side jacks: wide stance, one hand on the hip, the other arm reaching up and over as you lean, then switch - 6 in total. Calf raises, drawn with the hands clasped behind the back: rise onto the balls of the feet and lower slowly, 6 of them. Step, lean, step, rise. It is a short circuit and it is meant to keep moving from start to finish.
Keep the step jacks wide and the reach full. Six side jacks is not many, so make each lean long through the fingertips. Six calf raises is not many either, so make each one full range - all the way up, all the way down, and slow on the way down. If the circuit feels quick, that is what the sets are for.
Two rounds of stepping and two small finishers - a light cardio day that never quite stops.
Make it Harder: Land on the ball of the foot on every step jack and lift the heel as the arms rise.
Make it Easier: Do 8 step jacks per block and keep the rest as written.
