Day 26 pairs the two scissor moves with the two presses. Four exercises, 20 reps each - scissor chops, arm scissors, side shoulder taps, shoulder taps - then 2 minutes of rest, then repeat for your level. Two exercises in front of the body, then two from fingertips-on-shoulders: cross, cross, press out, press up.
Scissor chops: arms sweeping horizontally across the chest, one over the other, opening wide between crosses. Arm scissors: straight arms out in front crossing over and under in a smaller, quicker motion. Side shoulder taps: fingertips on the shoulders, arms driven straight out to the sides. Shoulder taps: same start, arms driven straight up overhead. The scissors keep the arms at shoulder height and moving; the taps give them a home position to return to and press from.
Level arms through both scissor moves. Side shoulder taps finish exactly level; shoulder taps finish with straight arms beside the ears and no lean back. By the last upper body days the standards are old news - the difference now is doing them at the same quality in the last set as in the first.
Cross, cross, out, up - the second-to-last upper body day is a tidy tour of what the arms have learned.
Make it Harder: Add a rise onto the toes at the top of every shoulder tap and keep the fists clenched through the scissors.
Make it Easier: Twelve reps of each scissor move and 20 of each tap.
