Abs Pro is a clean, clinical core session that still manages to feel a little mean in the best way. It starts with that classic “brace and breathe” rhythm, then lengthens the levers and keeps asking your midsection to stay quiet while your legs do the talking. The transitions are sneaky: you move from tight, compact shapes into longer, lower positions where the core has to work like a seatbelt, not a spotlight. Expect your deep stabilizers to light up first (transverse abdominis, obliques), then the superficial “six-pack” layers to jump in as fatigue tries to tug your ribs open and your lower back off the floor.

The real challenge is the tempo switch. Slow reps demand control and positioning, fast reps demand staying braced when momentum tries to steal the work. Think “zipper up” through the front of the body, heavy pelvis, long neck, and steady exhale on the hard part so the core can clamp down without the hip flexors taking over. By the end, you’ll feel that pleasant, earned tremor: the kind that shows up when your trunk learns to hold shape under changing speed and leverage, not just chase a burn.
