DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 4 of 5

Dreadnought is a full-body workout named for the warships that made every other vessel obsolete overnight - all big guns, no wasted deck space. The structure matches the name: two blocks of ten reverse lunges and a plank artillery section of push-up shoulder taps and plank rotations, with tap side lunges and bicep extensions completing the armament.

The workout fires in two broadsides. The first is legs: reverse lunges bracket a block of tap side lunges, so your glutes and quads work front-to-back, then laterally - the tap side lunges dropping you low and reaching across for the floor - then front-to-back again before the section ends. The second is the plank battery: push-up shoulder taps fuse two exercises into one rep, a full push-up followed immediately by a tap on each shoulder, loading the chest and then demanding anti-rotation before the next descent. Plank rotations between the two tap blocks open the body sideways to keep the obliques involved. The closing bicep extensions are the signal flag run down at the end - small, standing, almost a courtesy after what came before.

Step back with control in the reverse lunges and drive up through the front heel. In the tap side lunges, push your hips back and keep the reaching movement in your hips, not your rounding back. Treat every push-up shoulder tap as two disciplines in sequence: full-depth push-up, stable tap, no rushing the seam between them.

Big guns fore and aft, armor amidships. Nothing in the harbor compares.

Make it Harder: Double the push-up shoulder taps to eight per block.

Make it Easier: Swap push-up shoulder taps with regular shoulder taps.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
