DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Abs
Type: Abs
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Everyday Abs is a core routine built for exactly what the name promises - daily use. A 30-second elbow plank and a 60-second side plank open the session, followed by three rounds of high crunches, knee-to-elbow crunches and flutter kicks, with back extensions closing everything out. Nothing exotic, nothing you need to psych yourself up for. Just the fundamentals, done properly, repeatable tomorrow.

The structure covers the core's three jobs in order. The planks train stability first - the front and sides of your trunk holding position under load, which is what your core spends most of its day doing anyway. The crunch circuit then adds movement: high crunches for the upper abs, knee-to-elbow crunches to bring in the obliques with rotation, flutter kicks to shift the work to the lower abs and hip flexors. The closing back extensions are the part most ab routines forget - strengthening the other side of your trunk so daily flexion work does not leave you shortened and slumped in front.

In both planks, squeeze your glutes and keep a dead-straight line - a sagging plank trains nothing but your patience. Reach straight up on high crunches, lifting your shoulder blades rather than yanking your neck. Keep your lower back planted during flutter kicks; if it lifts, raise your legs higher. On back extensions, a controlled lift beats a high one.

Everyday means everyday. The whole point is showing up again tomorrow.

Make it Harder: Add 15 seconds to each plank hold every week.

Make it Easier: Drop to two rounds of the crunch sequence.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

Yes, the workouts are awesome and I like them very much. They are easy to understand and don't require much knowledge so you can simply start working out. BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
