Sonic Boom is a high-rep shoulder workout that uses three exercises to work the entire shoulder joint and upper back. Arm circles rotate the shoulder through its natural range of motion, training the muscles that keep the joint stable and controlled. Wide arm circles do the same but with a larger movement, which brings more of the upper back into the work and increases the challenge for the shoulders. Chest expansions open the arms out and back, strengthening the muscles between the shoulder blades and counteracting the forward rounding that comes from sitting for long periods. These three exercises alternate and repeat, keeping the shoulders under consistent effort throughout the whole session.
Most shoulder problems come from weakness or stiffness in the small muscles that surround the joint - muscles that standard pushing and pulling exercises do not always reach. Sonic Boom targets exactly those muscles by moving the shoulder in circles and through full extension, rep after rep. The high volume is the point: it builds endurance in muscles that need to work for a long time, not just briefly. The chest expansions add upper back strength that supports better posture and keeps the shoulders from pulling forward. Regular practice with this workout produces shoulders that are stronger, more flexible, and far less prone to tightness.
Loud, effective, and impossible to ignore.
