Standing Yoga focuses on building strength and balance through a series of powerful upright postures. By holding each stance for 30 seconds, you give your muscles time to engage and your mind time to settle into alignment. The sequence moves from chair poses to lateral bends to warrior stances, helping you open the hips, lengthen the spine and improve posture - all while staying on your feet. It’s an accessible flow you can do when you don’t have space for a mat or prefer not to get down on the floor.
Because every pose is held, the emphasis is on breathing and micro‑adjustments. You learn to find stability from the ground up, engaging your core and glutes to stay centred while the arms and torso reach in different directions. This standing series is a great way to start or end your day, calm the mind and build gentle endurance in your legs and core.
