DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Virgo is a no-equipment strength and tone circuit for the perfectionist in the zodiac: 5 squats, 10 reverse lunges, 5 more squats, then a 10-count arms-out hold, 10 arm circles, a second 10-count hold, and 10 side leg raises to finish. The rep counts are modest. The standards, in true Virgo fashion, are not.

This is a workout about doing few things impeccably rather than many things loosely - the sequencing rewards precision at every turn. The two sets of 5 squats bracket the reverse lunges, so your quads and glutes hit the second set already warm and are expected to match the first set's depth exactly. The shoulder block is even more exacting: holding your arms extended at shoulder height for a 10-count seems trivial until the arm circles between the two holds fill your deltoids with fatigue, at which point the second hold - identical on paper - becomes a genuine test of whether your arms are still exactly where they should be. The side leg raises close the circuit with strict, controlled hip work where any lean or swing shows immediately.

Squat with your arms overhead as illustrated - it forces an honest, upright torso and exposes any tightness in your upper back. Step reverse lunges backward with control and keep the front shin vertical. During the holds, arms stay at shoulder height precisely: not drifting down as they tire, not creeping up as you compensate. In side leg raises, move only the leg - torso still, hips level, no momentum. Details are the whole exercise.

Anyone can do 5 squats. Virgo does 5 correct ones.

Make it Harder: Stretch both arm holds to a 20-count and accept no drift.

Make it Easier: Lower your arms to your sides for the holds and keep everything else as written.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.

I love the pictures, the variety, the amount of time it takes to complete a workout and how you can mix and match if you have a lot of energy or only repeat 3 times if you don’t feel like exercising. The website is awesome and I recommend it whenever I talk about fitness with other people. I cannot thank Darebee enough for how much this project has helped me in having a solid exercise routine and how to deal with exercise when tired, injured or when I don’t have much time.
