Crop Top Workout is an abs session with a rhythm you will memorize by the second round: ten crunches, ten flutter kicks, five-count hold, repeat. Three times through per set, five sets in total, no equipment, no floor space beyond the length of your own body.
The three-part cycle covers the abs from top to bottom with each pass. Crunches lead, contracting the upper abs through a short, controlled range. Flutter kicks follow immediately, shifting the load down to the lower abs and hip flexors while your legs scissor above the floor. Then comes the hold - legs raised, torso lifted, everything contracted at once for a five-count that ties the two halves together. The magic is in the repetition without reset: each cycle begins on abs that never fully recovered from the last one, so by the third pass, ten simple crunches feel like a considerably less simple proposition. Short holds, small reps, compounding cost.
Curl up through the crunches with your chin off your chest, lifting your shoulder blades rather than pulling on your neck. Keep your lower back pressed into the floor during the flutter kicks - if it arches, raise your legs higher until it stops. In the holds, reach long through your legs and keep breathing; five counts is only short if you let air in.
Ten, ten, five, repeat. The math is simple. Round three does the multiplying.
Make it Harder: Stretch every hold to a 10-count.
Make it Easier: Bend your knees during the flutter kicks and holds.
