DAREBEE Workout: What it Works

Legs & Core is a standing lower-body workout that trains strength, balance and hip control together. It starts with squats - 20 reps to build leg and glute strength, followed immediately by a 20-count hold at the bottom. That hold is where the real work begins: your quads, glutes and core all have to stay active to keep you steady in position. Then the standing leg raises take over. Side raises work the outer hips and glutes. Back raises target the glutes and hamstrings. Front raises challenge your hip flexors and demand that your core keeps your torso upright throughout. Each direction trains a different part of the hip chain while the standing leg builds balance and stability with every rep.

The combination of squats and multi-direction leg raises means the whole lower body gets trained - front, back and sides - while your core works constantly to keep you stable and upright.

Legs & Core does exactly what it says. Every rep of every exercise is a team effort between your legs and your core - and both leave stronger for it.

Extra Credit: Do 30 squats and 30count hold.
