DAREBEE Workout: What it Works

Reset is a back-to-basics circuit designed to put your body back in alignment and remind your muscles what “solid” feels like. Each block is the same simple trio: 10 squats to wake up the legs and groove clean hip mechanics, 2+ push-ups to bring the upper body online, and a 10-count hold to lock everything in place. The twist is that the holds change as you go, shifting the stability challenge across your core: first a high plank hold, then a side plank hold, then a reverse plank hold. Same structure, new demand, which is exactly why it feels like a reset instead of a random grind.

The transitions are tidy and purposeful: you alternate standing work with floor strength, then finish each mini-round with a short isometric “checksum” that exposes weak links and builds real control. Squats give you grounded power and posture, push-ups train pressing strength and midline tension, and the rotating holds teach your core to brace in different planes: anti-extension in the plank, anti-rotation and shoulder stability in the side plank, and posterior chain engagement in the reverse plank. Use the “2+” reps as your intensity dial, but keep the holds strict. If you finish feeling taller, steadier, and more connected than when you started, you did it right.

Extra Credit: Increase push-ups to 5+ each round (still clean reps only).
