DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Upperbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Daybreak is a back workout performed entirely face-down on the floor - four exercises, ten reps each, targeting the muscles a full day of sitting quietly switches off. Back extensions, reverse angels, W-extensions and prone reverse flys train the posterior chain from the neck to the hips, making this the training equivalent of a strong cup of coffee for your spine.

Each exercise loads the back from a slightly different angle. Back extensions work the spinal erectors directly, lifting your torso against gravity. Reverse angels sweep the arms through a full arc, moving the shoulder blades through the range a desk posture never visits. W-extensions bias the mid-back and rear shoulders, squeezing the shoulder blades down and together - the exact opposite of a forward slump. Prone reverse flys finish with the arms out wide, loading the rear delts and rhomboids at their weakest, most valuable angle. Note that this one is not a circuit: you complete all sets of one exercise, rest two minutes, then move to the next, giving each muscle group focused, repeated attention.

Lift with your upper back, not by cranking your lower spine - a modest, controlled rise beats a high, jerky one every time. Keep your gaze down at the floor to protect your neck. In every arm variation, imagine pinching a pencil between your shoulder blades at the top of the rep.

The sun comes up, the spine wakes up. Start every morning this straight.

Make it Harder: Hold the top position of every rep for two full seconds.

Make it Easier: Reduce the range of motion and keep your feet on the floor throughout.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

Yes, the workouts are awesome and I like them very much. They are easy to understand and don't require much knowledge so you can simply start working out. BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
