Day 71 is a full body circuit in the repeated-pair shape: 14 jumping jacks, 14 climbers, 4 plank leg raises, then 14 jumping jacks, 14 shoulder taps and 4 plank arm raises. Six moves in order is one set, up to 2 minutes rest, 3, 5 or 7 sets by level. Both halves start standing and end in a plank.
The two blocks share the jacks and differ in the plank. The first pairs climbers, 7 per leg, with 4 plank leg raises, 2 per leg, so the hips go from moving fast to lifting slowly. The second pairs shoulder taps, 7 per hand, with 4 plank arm raises, 2 per arm, so the shoulders do the same thing. Only 4 of each raise, but they come at the end of 14 reps of plank work, which is when the hips least want to stay level. The numbers are small; the position they land in is not.
Full jumping jacks. Climbers with the hips down and the knee driving in. Plank leg raises lift a straight leg a few inches without tilting the hips. Shoulder taps strict. Plank arm raises reach a straight arm forward to shoulder height with the body square to the floor. All the plank work in a straight line from head to heels.
Jacks into planks, twice, and four slow raises at the end of each block to keep the hips honest.
Make it Harder: Take both kinds of plank raise to 8 and hold the top of each for a 2-count.
Make it Easier: Cut the climbers to 8 and take the plank raises at half the range.
